In preparation of the upcoming opening of Khong River House on South Beach, Chef Bee and the 50 Eggs team, including CEO/founder John Kunkel, took a field trip down to a Miami farm, where they are having exotic Asian ingredients grown locally for Khong. Talk about farm to table. Some of the ingredients to be used in the menu are Galanga (a relative of ginger) and Thai Guava. Taking it a step further, Chef Bee and the team also visited the local Thai community, including a local temple, to help build relationships between the restaurant and the local Thai community and monks.
