Jonathan Cheban to Open Sushi MiKasa at Shelborne

It looks like the Shelborne will be adding more excitement to their dining options. With the recently re-opened Vesper, the Shelborne will now be adding a Sushi MiKasa thanks to Kim Kardashian's guy pal and TV personality Jonathan Cheban. As Cheban's first restaurant, Sushi MiKasa will have Chef Kevin of the original New York location as well as the famed Sushi Seki in the Upper East Side. Chef Kevin will be at the helm of the second outpost, while Cheban will be heading the design with celebs like his good friend in mind (like a private entrance). Miami's Sushi MiKasa will be in an entirely new space at the Shelborne and is slated to open later this month, just in time for Art Basel.
