Doors Open at New Locations for La Baguette and More

1) Miami Beach: The Miami sandwich shop La Baguette has set foot on rival La Sandwicherie's South Beach territory. Late last month the sandwich, salad, burger, hotdog, and beer joint opened on 10 and Ocean Drive. Perfect for a late-night eat after a night on the strip, the new SoBe location is the second to their Brickell original. It's open 24 hours, does delivery in a cute Mini Cooper , and features fresh juices and smoothies as well as a full bar. And so, the rivalry continues.

2) Downtown: Another expansion, the Democratic Republic of Beer, known as the DRB on the streets, is opening their second location in Downtown Miami just down the street from their original. Starting Friday, things at the new DRB look to be bigger and better with more beers (50 on tap), more hours (open for lunch), a more expansive menu with food and beer pairings, cigar and beer pairings, plans for more on-site brewing, more small batch brews, and more space for indoor seating as well as outdoor covered seating. Plus, parking is free after 6p.m.

3) Brickell: Expanding further still, the Spanish sandwiches of 100 Montaditos are now available in Brickell. Having just opened its tenth South Florida location yesterday, 100 Montaditos has taken over the former Deli Lane space and is sure to be a great pit stop for Brickell's busy business crowd. The new location is the first to launch an extended menu (that will launch at all locations November 15) with more offerings like a calamari platter, an XXL montadito, and more vegetarian-friendly options. There's also a lunchtime promo, Combomania, to give more bang for your buck, except on Wednesdays when everything is a buck.
