Boozers of Miami Beach, rejoice. The wait is over as The Broken Shaker has finally returned for good, now open to the public. With a preview last week specially for Art Basel events, the popular pop-up has officially gone permanent at the newly redone Freehand Miami, a trendy, quirky hostel replacing the worn out Indian Creek Hotel. The guys behind Broken Shaker and Bar Lab, Elad Zvi and Gabriel Orta, have created a crafted cocktail list that will change seasonally, or whenever they feel like it, with homemade syrups and homegrown herbs from the garden. They've got the whole outdoor back area set up with chairs to lounge in by the pool or patio, and games like ping pong and bocce ball. The small nook the bar is nestled in has a vintage feel with retro wallpaper and other old fixtures and oddities. Stop by for a drink and hang out anytime from 5p.m. to 2a.m. daily.
