NYC's Lure Fishbar Docking at the Loews in 2013

Combining forces under the letter "J," restaurateurs Josh Pickard and John McDonald, chef Josh Capon, and hotelier Jonathan Tisch are bringing New York City's Lure Fishbar down to South Beach at the former Emeril's location in the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Set to open next fall as Lure South Beach, the restaurant will bring its same seafood-based menu and yacht-themed decor under chef Capon, who Tisch applauds as "unquestionably talented" with his "innovative" dishes. There will be a seafood bar, raw bar, and sushi bar, hence the aptly named "Fishbar" in its title. They've also got steaks and mean burgers, making Lure one of NYC's top power lunching spots in Soho. And just next door at the James Royal Palm is the soon-to-open CATCH from Top Chef winner Hung Huynh, also a seafood-focused NYC outpost. Let's see how things play out between these two neighbors trying to lure and catch diners.
