According to Short Order, last night two Miami Burger King drive-thru windows were subjected to an armed robbery. The first BK location robbed was at the 1300 block of NW 20 Street. The second location, NW 36 Street and 27 Avenue, was just three miles away from and targeted shortly after the first, which WSVN says happened at 10p.m. The robberies seem identical, with a man caught on camera at the first BK jumping in through the drive-thru window with gun in hand to take the money in the register. No one was injured at either location. Police have not confirmed whether he is the same culprit for both robberies and are continuing their search.
