Just opened this week, the "fast service" chain Maoz Vegetarian has made its first landing in Miami. Popular in NYC and Europe, Maoz was opened in Boca Raton a few years ago. The franchise has now come to South Florida and has plans of further expansion in Miami. Just off Lincoln on Washington Avenue, Maoz is a, you guessed it, vegetarian spot with vegan and gluten-free offerings. It's also certified kosher. Falafel pitas or salads ring in under eight bucks and come with unlimited toppings from the salad bar and sauces. They've even got sweet potato fries, fresh juices, and vegan soups on the cheap too.
