Khong's Opening Date is Set for December 17

Eater just received confirmation on the official opening date for Khong River House: Monday, December 17. The Thai-focused Asian concept from 50 Eggs Restaurant Group (the guys behind Yardbird and Lime) is the first of two to open this winter, with Yardbird's sister Swine opening after in early 2013. Khong has been taking its time developing an authentic food and beverage program, with Chef Bee at the helm who's working with a local Thai farm to get the crops needed for the menu. Located just off Lincoln Road at 1661 Meridian Avenue, Khong will be open for dinner from 5:30p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 5:30p.m. to 2a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Lunch and brunch will soon follow a few weeks after the opening. Eater will have more details closer to the opening. Start getting excited.
