New, 12 comments

The votes are in and 1500° sous chef Adrienne Grenier won the 8th and final heat in the Eater Miami's Hottest Chef Competition with 233 votes, leaving the competition in her dust--Michael Pirolo (Scarpetta) had 83, Michelle Bernstein (Michy's, et al) had 34, and Andrew Carmellini (The Dutch) had 8. Today starts the semi finals and in the first round we have: Paola Goldberg, Executive chef/co-owner, Route 9; Jouvens Jean, Chef de Cuisine, St. Regis Bal Harbour; Giorgio Rapicavoli, Chef/co-owner Eating House Miami; and Molly Brandt, Chef de Cuisine, 150 Central Park on Allure of the Seas. Polls will be open until 1 p.m.ish EST tomorrow. From there we move on to round two of the semi finals and then pit today's winner against that one to decide who will rep Miami in the nationals. Good luck and happy voting. [EaterWire]
