Oceans 234 has a new executive chef and a new menu. South Florida native Victor Franco, who has worked with the likes of chefs Mark Militello, Norman Van Aken and Allen Susser, has created 10 new plates for the beachside bistro and bar in Deerfield Beach. Franco spent a couple of years in Maryland, where he apprenticed as a pastry chef before returning home. His new menu features salad, sushi, land and sea plates, including tropical grilled swordfish on a bed of coconut macadamia rice; topped with a fresh pineapple and red pepper salsa.
