Morton's The Steakhouse Shutters Miami Beach Branch

Vic & Angelo's isn't the only chain to close in Miami. Morton's The Steakhouse just shuttered its Miami Beach location on Wednesday, according to the South Florida Business Journal. And it's the first of many, apparently. This after Tilman Fertitta, president and CEO of Landry’s, bought the steak chain back in December. According to a generic company statement, “Over time, demographics shift, and so do the areas in which businesses thrive, and it’s because of this that we must close the Morton’s location in [you can fill in the blank]."
