50 Eggs Hires Top Chef Alumni, Expands to Asian & Seafood Concepts

50 Eggs Restaurant Group, the one responsible for the Southern sensation that is Yardbird, has just hired Top Chef alum Chef Kenny Gilbert and, for a split second on the current Top Chef Texas, Chef Berenice de Araujo, formerly of Sra. Martinez. Gilbert has been enlisted as a 50 Eggs Corporate Chef, while de Araujo has been consulting for Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, "where both will reside as 50 Eggs works on building their portfolio of concepts, says a press release. " Most recently, Gilbert was the Executive Chef at Nippers Grille in Jacksonville Beach, where he developed a Southern-fusion menu. "Both chefs are exciting additions to the culinary roster at 50 Eggs Restaurant Group which is currently fine-tuning a multitude of concepts to be rolled out in Miami, beginning with seafood and Asian concepts."
