Throughout April, all Mercadito locations will showcase a special taco from Miami-based Doreen Colondres, creator of www.LaCocinaNoMuerde.com as part of their Tacos for Strength fundraiser benefiting Share Our Strength. Her creation? A taco with skirt steak, Colombian chimichurri, yellow plantain and avocado cream. An order of four is $16.50, five percent of which goes to the charity.
