Status: Opening on Atlantic Avenue Thursday, April 12, 75 Main is a sceney Southampton spot that caters to everyone from the A list (Leonardo DiCaprio, Madonna, JLo) to the Zzzzz list (read: Real Housewives and Kardashians). Taking over the former Cugini space, 75 Main Delray is the brainchild of is the creation of dynamic 31-year-old restaurateur Zach Erdem, who says that " "Delray Beach is a special place and the perfect spot for my new restaurant and lounge. 75 Main Delray combines a touch of Hamptons sophistication with a definitive dose of South Florida hospitality. We look forward to welcoming old friends and making new friends in the community." See? Not everyone thinks "South Florida hospitality" is an oxymoron.

Chef is John Thomas, whose menu features "contemporary American cuisine with Mediterranean accents". New York accents, too. Among the highlights are whole roasted Branzino with EVOO (their abbreviation, not ours) and fresh herbs; cioppino; grilled baby lamb chops with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus; jumbo lump crab cakes with stone ground mustard sauce; vegetable and seafood risotto; New York Strip Steak; veal chop with sauteed porcini mushrooms and polenta.

As with any sceney Hamptons or otherwise spot, a DJ will spin house music from 10:30pm until 2am Thurs-Saturday. The signature drink is the 75 Maintini, which will change each season, with the Spring version featuring Stoli Elite and passion fruit juice.
