After pulling some strings, Richard Hales , the Norma Rae of Miami's legit food truck movement, was able to convince the City of Miami to allow a temporary permit to pull off at the last minute the Wynwood Street Food & Music Fest tomorrow, April 14 during the Wynwood Art Walk. Said Hales, "We have held the event without incident since November of 2010 and have become an integral part of the Wynwood landscape and we are working hard to make sure the City of Miami does not kill the event."
