When the Miami Heat begin their NBA playoff run Saturday, April 28 at 3:30 p.m. against the Knicks, Harry's Pizzeria will tune its TV to game #1 on ABC and begin offering buckets of ice-cold Miller High Life. $10 gets you five 12-ounce bottles ($2.50/each a la carte.) Heat game on TV means high fives in your bucket. The High Five promotion will run until the championships, of course. Schwartz also wants to High Five you at home and is holding a game of his own on Twitter to choose the lucky winner.
Starting today, Friday, April 27, customers that follow @Harryspizzeria are encouraged to Tweet #HarrysHighFive with a picture showing why they deserve a personalized Schwartz delivery. Entries will be taken until 5:00 p.m. today, and @chefmschwartz will announce the lucky winner on Twitter at 12:00 noon tomorrow, who will enjoy two pies with a High Five bucket hand delivered by the chef. He may even stay to watch the big game! Tweeters should bear in mind that delivery will only occur within a 10-mile radius of Harry's Pizzeria located at 3918 North Miami Avenue, Miami Design District, 33127.
“We like to have a little fun at Harry’s, especially when it involves beer, so this just seemed like the right thing to do,” says Ryan Goodspeed, beverage director of The Genuine Hospitality Group. “Michael on the other hand has taken the High Five to a whole new level though. I don’t know what he was thinking when he agreed to deliver. Good idea? We shall see!”
