Route 9's Expansion to Key Biscayne Moving Quickly

After news broke in April of their expansion to Key Biscayne, the team behind Route 9, which was named 2011 Best Restaurant in Coral Gables by Miami New Times are making quick headway on their new project in the Towers of Key Biscayne. Keeping with their highway traffic theme, the owners have dubbed the restaurant Exit 1 with a focus on American fare with influences from the Med. Looking for an early July opening, the initial plan for Exit 1 is to keep it simple by offering strictly dinner and then expanding to lunch, brunch and more in the future.
