Memorial Day Round Up

With Miami being the second most visited city on Memorial Day, it's officially time to round up the options to weather the storm for the holiday weekend in South Florida:

· VISITING - With an overload of tourists expected for Urban Beach Week, Miami New Times listed the top ten dining destinations on South Beach as well as the participants for the James Beard foundation's Serve Up campaign, which runs through Labor Day. [Short Order]

· MIAMI BEACH - Along with their James Beard Serve Up charity dish, Jamie DeRosa and the team at Tudor House will be working the grill all weekend for a special Memorial Day menu. [EaterWire]

· BARBECUE - Memorial Day and barbecue are pretty much synonymous and Clean Plate Charlie has the run down of the top barbecue joints in South Florida. [CPC]

· GRILLING - If the weather permits, everyone could use the advice of some of Miami's top chefs when it comes to grilling. Enlisting the help of Andrew Carmellini, Sean Brasel, Jamie DeRosa, Aaron Brooks and Daniel Serfer when firing up the grill at one of these parks could never hurt. [Short Oder]

· FOOD TRUCKS: In Ft. Lauderdale, the Food Truck Invasion at Arts Park in Hollywood's Young Circle will host a Memorial Day bash from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. [EaterWire]
