Sometimes change means going back to your roots and Elida Villarroel is doing just that. The chef/owner of the former Charlotte Bistro on Miracle Mile is scrapping the French menu and will open Mesa to match her Venezuelan heritage. All this follows the interior redesign Villarroel completed at the end of last year for Charlotte Bistro. Hopefully this change will do the trick. See the menu here. [EaterWire]
