Pubbelly's Italian Godchild Macchialina Opening Tonight

After months of delays, the newest addition to the Pubbelly family, Macchialina Taverna Rustica, will finally make it's long anticipated debut this evening in South Beach. Michael Pirolo, the former Scarpetta chef, matches his homey Italian cuisine with the style of the Pubbelly boys - Jose Mendin, Sergio Navarro, and Andreas Schreiner - to form the rustic Italian eatery. Located in the old Sylvano's space on 8th and Alton, Macchialina will be open only for dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to midnight and serving dinner until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturday. Reservations are accepted for parties of 8 or more.
