With the curtain falling on Eating House in two weeks, chef Giorgio Rapicavoli is replaying some of the pop-up's greatest hits. Starting July 18, the following dishes will be making appearances on the menu: "Mac & Cheese" with roasted pumpkin & cornbread crumbs; roasted bone marrow with ropa vieja & tostada cubana; Japanese eggplant with banana miso & vanilla salt; sea scallops with smoked guava & maduro puree; strawberry shortcake - basil ice cream & crunchy meringue; "Birthday Cake" with cake batter mouse & whipped chocolate.
