Restaurateur Stephen Starr has joined an illustrious group as a class-action federal lawsuit has been filed against his company, Starr Restaurants Hotel Group, according to the Broward New Times. Filed Friday, the suit claims that a cook as well as other employees of Starr's Steak 954, located in the W Hotel Fort Lauderdale, were never compensated for working overtime. Starr Restaurants also operates Bal Harbour's Makoto as well as a number of other restaurants in the northeastern United States. There is no word yet if this is the tip of the iceberg for the class-action lawsuit against Starr or if it's just a minor development.
