Grandparents beware, Boca Raton's newest eatery isn't like the delicatessens and cafes around the corner. Rebel House, the renegade restaurant from the minds behind Charm City Burger and El Jefe Luchador, officially opened last Friday after many delays and a long soft opening. Designed with a taste for the eclectic, Rebel House exudes the feeling of an art gallery with large exposed wooden trusses, an open dining room and walls adorned with edgy decor. The kitchen matches the theme with small plates like calamari fries, pork belly tator-tots and a mac 'n' cheese pancake. The menu, priced to be shared, will continue to evolve over time introducing new dishes as the seasons turn. Rebel House is open from 5 p.m. to midnight. Phone: 561-756-9764.
