Coral Springs's Big Bear Brewing Company brought some medals home to South Florida at the United State Open Beer Championship, winning the gold in the German Kolsch category for its Polar Light, silver in the Irish red ale for Grizzly Red, and bronze in the smoked category for Smokey the Bear.
