OMG! Beer, Snacks, and a Movie; Dinner at the Museum

MIAMI— The newly released, locally made Michael's Genuine Home Brew is being launched this week at two events. Tonight, sip on his new craft beer along with other treats at O.Cinema for their OMG! Beer, Snacks, and a Movie tasting. Tomorrow, sample the Home Brew along with four new others from the Back Forty Beer Company at Harry's Pizzeria for Hot & Hot Pizzeria, part of their monthly chef pop-up series featuring James Beard Award-winning Birmingham chef Chris Hastings. MIAMI BEACH— Food and art come together for one night at the Bass Museum on August 22 where Fratelli Lyon will have a pop-up dinner. For $65, you'll get a four-course dinner, complete with wine and entrance to the galleries. [Miami.com]

SOUTH BEACHSubway does things the SoBe way with plans for a new Subway Cafe concept. Wood-paneled walls, ample seating in cozy armchairs, and luxe lighting will be featured (hopefully with WiFi). In addition to the usual menu, Subway Cafe will offer baked goods, desserts, and a full line of caffeinated beverages from Seattle Coffee. No date on the opening yet, as the lease to the space at 15th and Washington Avenue was just signed. [Short Order]
