The recently opened 8 oz. An American Kitchen is ready to get dirty with diners, launching a monthly Butchery and Beer Series, partnered with Stone Brewing Company. The first whole hog event is set for September 10 at 8 p.m. During the education in pig anatomy, 8 oz. will be serving up a three pork courses paired with Stone brews, culminating in pork burgers. For fans of art of butchering, the pork class is only the beginning, 8 oz. has plans in the works for classes in other animals. The first Butchery and Beer class is priced at $75. 305-830-1990.
