Brother Jimmy's, the barbecue joint from New York City, is set to officially bring its saucy, smokey meats to Brickell next Monday, August 13. The Miami outpost of Brother Jimmy's, which is the eighth overall, is a collaboration between former 'Canes players and current NFLers DJ Williams, Jon Beason, and Jonathan Vilma with businessman Ron Berkowitz. Sticking to the restaurants motto, "Put Some South in Yo' Mouth", the menu is meat-centric and down-home from its specialty original "wet" ribs to sliced brisket to Southern specialties like country fried steak with gravy. The team is working towards a soft opening for the later part of this week. Phone: 786-360-3650.
