Opening Updates: Gourmet Table, Dylan's, Cooper Avenue, South Street

1) Coral Gables: Gourmet Table is ready to cut the ribbons. Next Wednesday, September 19, will mark the Opening Reception for the market and eatery filled with exotic teas, caviar, and other luxury goods that are still wallet-friendly.

2) Miami Beach: Keeping candy fun and fashionable, Dylan's Candy Bar, started by Ralph Lauren's daughter Dylan Lauren, will soon be taking over the former Ghirardelli location on Lincoln Road. The Miami boutique will be Dylan's fifth in the states and is slated for a December opening in time for the holidays, if construction goes according to plan.

3) Miami Beach and Design District: Two of Miami's Six Most Anticipated Fall Openings are headed by popular Miami restauranteur Amir Ben-Zion, who won over stomachs with Gigi. The first is Cooper Avenue: a multipurpose restaurant, market, bar, deli, and bakery on the ground floor of Miami Beach's New World Symphony. The second is taking the former Sra. Martinez space in the Design District as a Motown restaurant/lounge: South Street Restaurant & Bar. Regarding the opening dates for both, Amir told Eater: "South Street in early October and Cooper during the last three days of September [...] I hope..."
