Go HAM at Happy Hour; Dragon Shots for a Samurai

MIDTOWN— Trust Mercadito to step up and not let us go hungry (or thirsty). Go HAM tomorrow, September 19 from 6 to 8 p.m., at their happy hour to raise money for Feeding South Florida's Hunger Awareness Month (HAM). Entrance fee of $25 with RSVP or $30 at door will include appetizers (they'll have the Tradicional Guacamole, Corn Masa Quesadilla, Flautas and Roja Salsa) and two drink tickets good for the Margarita Tradicional, or any of the beer and wine offered. All proceeds will benefit Feeding South Florida. [Miami.com]

MIAMI BEACH— Starting this Sunday, September 23, the SLS's Japanese restaurant Katsuya will kick off Hidden Dragon Sundays in their Dragon Lounge. Besides the fact that it just sounds like a cool ninja thing to say, "meet me at the Dragon Lounge from 9p.m. to midnight" they're offering cheap prices on their eats like $5 Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna and $12 Kobe Sliders, along with deals like $5 Dragon Shots and three bar food items with the purchase of a liquor bottle over $250 or a champagne bottle over $150. The dinner comes complete with drink pairings for $110 and is open to the first 14 guests that RSVP. [EaterWire]
