Starting tomorrow, Coral Gables will be getting a taste of the far east with Pao Town, a new concept from the guys who have sprouted multiple Sushi Maki locations around South Florida. An Asian gastropub, Pao Town will be ideal for a quick lunch off Miracle Mile with the emphasis on "fast casual." Customers go up to the counter and order, grab silverware and drinks, and sit down and wait for orders to be brought out. Simple, quick, and efficient. The "Hawaiian style" food includes influences from China, Japan, and Korea and menu items like pork belly buns, bacon and pineapple fried rice, and hotdogs piled with kimchee. Adding to the pub fare feel, they'll be serving beer too.
