The Abbey's New Brews; Seafood at Ocean Bleu

NORTH MIAMI — Ocean Bleu will be swapping spots with former Greenhouse Organic Restaurant's location on Sunny Isles Blvd. and 163 St.. The restaurant will have its grand opening sometime after the 4th, but its doors will be open for festivities on Super Bowl weekend. For now the details are still vague, but as the name might hint, seafood is to be expected. [EaterWire]

MIAMI BEACH —The Abbey Brewing Company's owner and brew-master, Raymond Rigazio, is currently in the process of crafting several new batches. The new beer coming in February: A Russian Imperial Oatmeal Chocolate Stout. April's new brew: A Triple Abbey Golden Ale. And in May, Rigazio plans to revive the Abbey Brown Ale that is made from a special, and shh ? confidential, type of Barley as well as create a West-Coast style Dry Hop IPA. [EaterWire]

NORTH MIAMI — Johnson and Wales University hosts their Distinguished Visiting Chef dinner with Adrianne Calvo (a JWU alumna and owner and chef of Adrianne's Vineyard Restaurant and Bar) on Friday, February 1.
