Serving dinner starting tonight, CATCH Miami is located at the James Royal Palm hotel but in its own space adjacent to the lobby with a retro "Shorecrest" sign on the art deco building. Step inside the bi-level space designed by ICRAVE for a downstairs bar, sushi bar, and high-top tables with a very South Beach vibe that fits the location. Head upstairs and you'll think you've just stepped into the heart of New York City's Meatpacking District, where the original CATCH was opened by the EMM Group in 2011. At the helm is Top Chef winner, Executive Chef Hung Huynh, who divides the dinner-only menu into sections of raw, rolled, cold, large format, and simply grilled items that come out in a steady flow as they're ready, keeping things more casual. Favorites from the original menu like the Cantonese Lobster will be featured along with more Miami-inspired dishes, including the Shorecrest Roll.
