Jason Pringle, a recent member of New York's Cafe Boulud team is now the executive chef of DB Bistro Moderne. Before working at Cafe Boulud, Pringle opened the San Francisco's Epic Roasthouse as executive sous chef and was the executive chef of Aqua. He was also the chef de cuisine at New York's Millesime and was executive chef at David Burke Townhouse.
The restaurant will still "serve traditional French fare met by flavors of the American market," reps announce. No word on what's in store for former executive chef and hottie Matthieu Godard, who has worked for the gruop since 2006. Note that Boulud's longtime chef Jim Leiken also recently left Cafe Boulud over in Palm Beach.
