Miami's still waiting on some much anticipated breweries to open up in the near future but until they get their feet on the ground, here's another one to look forward to: Concrete Beach Brewery.
Behind the new spot are Alan Newman and Stacey Steinmetz of the Alchemy & Science project, a company that owns several other breweries including Angel City Brewery in California and Coney Island Beer Company in New York. According to Brewbound.com, the two partners started construction for the Wynwood Arts District brewery this month with plans to have Concrete Beach officially open for business in "early 2014". Short Order writes that in addition to serving as a beer production facility, Concrete Beach will also "provide brewery tours and become an active supporter of Wynwood's vibrant arts scene".
