Opened less than one year ago, The Hoxton has suddenly shuttered. Located in Brickell, The Hoxton was to be part of a trio of spots opened by Santiago Rodriguez (along with the recently opened Boxpark and upcoming Harvey Wolf). Miami.com reports that the "Urban Beach House" announced its closure "in a series of tweets". The Hoxton writes, "We wish to inform you that after it's tenure as the only "Urban Beach House" in South Florida, The Hoxton will now be closed," "The ownership, management and staff wish to thank everyone for the great support, collaborations and one-of-a-kind events," and "As of todays date any functions or special events scheduled will be cancelled effective today 10.22.13. Thank you and until our next venture".
Miami.com also confirms that sister-restaurant Boxpark, which opened this past July, will remain open. As for the third part of the trio, Harvey Wolf, no announcements have been made yet.
