"So long Ireland. Hello Cuba", writes Short Order, reporting that Brickell Irish Pub will be closing its doors "this Saturday night". The Brickell pub that's been open for several years now, will be replaced by the V&E Restaurant Group's next expansion, a third outpost of their Lincold Road and Espanola Way spot, Havana 1957. Until then, Brickell Irish Pub is celebrating its "fourth anniversary with a "closing soiree" that will include "a UM Tailgate bash at 5 p.m. complete with BBQ, Beat the Clock drink specials, live tunes, entertainment, and other fun stuff". No word yet on when exactly Havana 1957 will make its appearance.
