MIAMI BEACH – The final dinner in Tongue & Cheek's Kitchen Collab 2013 series will take place next Wednesday, November 20. This time around, chef Jamie DeRosa is pairing up with Paula DaSilva of 3030 Ocean. Tickets are $75 per person. [EaterWire]
MIAMI BEACH – Clearly the times are a changin' at The Local House. Not many, if any, restaurants are doing this, but The Local House has decided to get more local-friendly and lower their prices across the board to ring in the new season. They're also rolling out a $19 prix-fixe lunch menu as an extension to their Miami Spice offerings that will be available Monday through Friday. And they've added some new "seafood-centric" items, like seafood stew and shrimp risotto. MIAMI BEACH – Todd Erickson is partnering up with JetBlue Airlines for the launch of their flights from Fort Lauderdale to Lima, Peru. To celebrate this, JetBlue is taking over HaVen's "Destination Saturdays" on November 16 complete with staff in flight attendant costumes and drink specials. They'll also be raffling off round-trip vouchers from Fort Lauderdale to Lima every hour from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. [EaterWire]
