Lorenzo is super close to opening at the Redbury Hotel, like next week close (!). Before it opens up and the crowds flock in, take a peek inside in the space (which at the time wasn't entirely completed, so things may look slightly different when you head over there). Behind South Beach's newest restaurant is James Beard Award-winner Tony Mantuano, a Top Chef Masters champion with a host of successful eateries under his name including the acclaimed Spiaggia restaurant in Chicago.
This time around, Mantuano has partnered up with the Redbury and the sbe group to bring his Italian skills out of Chicago and into Miami for the first time. On the menu, which we'll share soon, will be a variety of Italian classics including wood-fired pizzas from a Tuscany-imported oven. The cocktail program will be created by Goose & Gander's Michael Pazdon. In the wine department, Cathy Mantuano will reign supreme with her wine list, which offers close to 100 all-Italian bottles as well as sparkling and champagne.
