After the closure of Serafina at the end of the year, a new restaurant from celeb chef Ralph Pagano is already scheduled to land at Dream South Beach. Pagano, who also owns Alba in Sunny Isles and is mostly known for his Italian cuisine, plans to open a Mexican spot (name still in the works), "well before the end of January 2014."
Short Order reports that "the restaurant will serve Mexican food with an emphasis on Ensenada and Baja street food." Pagano tells the blog the dishes will "straddle the line between authentic with a modern take" adding, "the real benchmark is when you put it in your mouth. If you love it, I've done my job."
