The folks behind LoKal Burgers & Beer and the recently launched Miami Brew Bus are opening a new Wynwood restaurant called Kush. Short Order reports that LoKal owner Matt Kuscher, who went for "for combined ownership of the new restaurant" with Lokal's manager, David Rodriguez and his fiancée, CiCi Barmon, plans to "expand the territory of the craft beer scene and maintain the gourmet burger tradition" that LoKal is currently known for. As for the menu, the blog states half of it will consist of items from LoKal's offerings, the other of items "unique to the new location."
Kush also differs from its Coconut Grove counterpart in that it will have no table service, but it will have plenty of beer. According to SO, the craft beer program, which will be spearheaded by Rodriguez "will be more extensive than the one at Lokal" with a "continuous rotation of 18 taps of craft beers from all over the state" and nitro taps. There is no set opening date for the 2003 North Miami Ave. spot as of yet, but stay tuned.
