After months upon months of rumors, the Graspa Group's Van Dyke Café is really closing. Short Order and Miami.com report that those rumors have finally been confirmed by publicist JennyLee Molina, who says Van Dyke's lease is up and the nearly twenty-year-old restaurant might "establish roots" elsewhere. As for what's taking over the Graspa Group's Lincoln Road spot, rumor has it it's some type of retail store (both Miami.com and Short Order lament the fact that it might by an Abercrombie or LuLuLemon). Until all that goes down though, Van Dyke will remain open, at least until after the end of January, when everyone (including employees themselves) will find out exactly when the restaurant will be shutting its doors.
