Chef Bee (formerly of Khong River House), who owns and operates Oishi Thai is opening up a new restaurant called NaiYaRa in Sunset Harbour. According to Short Order the new spot "will specialize in the Asian street food that captured his heart growing up along the Mekong river in Thailand." As for the name choice, Chef Bee (or Piyarat Arreeratn) tells the blog the name means "peaceful and calm" as well as "female elephant," "and is the name of the chef's young daughter."
