Miami's own Azul and NAOE have just become a part of the most elite five-star restaurants in the world, recently receiving the honor from Forbes Travel Guide. Forbes calls NAOE in Brickell Key "a jewel box of a Japanese restaurant" and notes that those who score the restaurants coveted reservations "are treated to an impeccable experience". The Mandarin Oriental Hotel's Azul is also bragged about when Forbes calls their dishes "an absolute treat for the taste buds". Huge news for the Miami spots that were chosen out of "about 500 establishments" especially since they are two of just 28 restaurants in the world to be deemed five-star worthy this year. Other local restaurants won big as well. Four-stars went to Scarpetta and Hakkasan in Miami Beach, and Palme d'Or in Coral Gables. Well done Miami!
