Valentine's day: rather stressful for the coupled and the single, allied in cranking up the menu prices of various restaurants, a generally incredibly easy opportunity for a flop, and, now the good part, oft associated with adorable chocolate hearts and other sweet confections. Think of it this way, when all else fails, dessert will not ? because ice cream makes the heart grow fonder. Pour some sugar on your honey (or yourself) and check out these restaurants for some sweet deals.
STK Miami: The self-dubbed "sexy steakhouse" at The Perry South Beach Hotel will be adding a special dessert to their menu in observation of Valentine's sugary traditions. For $12, you can enjoy a platter of three desserts, a Baileys and Chocolate Milkshake, a Spicy Fudge Brownie, and a White Chocolate Raspberry Blondie. If you buy dinner here, you also get complimentary Godiva Truffles – sweetness galore.
Juvia: Juvia will also be featuring a special V-Day dessert. If something more fruity and less chocolaty calls to you, feast your taste buds on the Raspberry Lychee Verrine (Lychee Gelée with Raspberry Marmalade, Coconut Crumble and Rose Petal Ice Cream).
Yardbird Southern Bar & Table: Yardbird brings it back to basics with Dark Chocolate Cherry Cake and an ode to the classic V-day shape (the heart), the Conversation Heart Cookie.
BLT at The Betsy: Chocolate is just romantic. For more of it, try out BLT's Chocolate Truffle Tort (Hazelnut Dacquoise and Grand Marnier "kisses") for $10. For less of it, the Strawberry Pavlova (Passion Fruit ice cream with Sangria Consommé), also for $10, may be worth noting.
Serendipity 3: Serendipity 3 is serving up a "Strawberry Sin" Sundae for $15. Wouldn't be complete without a heart-shaped chocolate cake, three scoops of ice cream, a chocolate covered strawberry and a deep fried strawberry served with chocolate and strawberry sauce – all of which it includes.
