Update on Kouzina Greek Bistro, Opening Thursday

Kouzina Greek Bistro, the joint spotted in Midtown last month where Tapas & Tintos used to be, will be opening this Thursday, March 22. The new eatery comes from the same guys who own Freshko Gourmet Espresso Bar, Yiannis Sotiropoulis and Efthimios Paliouras, who also "own nightclubs and restaurants in Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini."
Sotiropoulis tells Short Order that "they chose Miami because of its Mediterranean appeal." Kouzina's chef, Alexia Apostolidi, says she wants "to focus on homey flavors" and have her dishes to be "traditional but different". Check out the full menu and more info here.
