Tikl Raw Bar & Grill Closes, Plans to Reopen as Perfecto

Tikl Raw Bar & Grill, the Brickell restaurant that opened up less than a year ago and has been very well received since, closed its doors last week. Miami.com reports that it was too expensive for the Altamare team, which opened up the eatery back in August of 2012, to keep up with the "booming Brickell" business. Executive chef Simon Stojanovic says, "the momentum wasn't there", but that he's "ok" with taking a "good break".

For now will be working at Copperbox Culinary Atelier, an "invitation only" eatery located in Wynwood.
Good news is that Ana Matia, one of Tikl's owners, says they plan to reopen the spot in a few months as Perfecto, a totally different concept designed around Spanish cuisine consisting of tapas and small plates.
