Enriqueta's Temporarily Shuttered; Mariachis at Mercadito

TEMPORARY SHUTTERS/ WYNWOOD - Enriqueta's Café in Wynwood will be temporarily closed after an electrical fire. Though there was "no severe damage ? in the kitchen or dining room", they will still take a while to reopen. Owner Jose Luis Pla tells Short Order, "maybe a month". [SO]

MIDTOWN – For Cinco de Mayo, Mercadito's hosting a two-day fiesta with food and drink specials, a brunch buffet and live mariachis. Party starts Saturday, May 4, at 9 p.m. The brunch buffet ($35 per person) will be Sunday at 11:30 a.m. [EaterWire]

SURFSIDE – Josh's Deli will start serving homemade donuts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Expect flavors like "Key lime, chicken n' waffles, chocomallow pretzel" and "Irish cream with butterscotch glaze". [S0]
