Emack & Bolio's Now Open in SoBe

New, 1 comment

Last week, a new sweet spot "quietly opened up" in South Beach: Emack & Bolio's, a Boston import. According to Short Order, the reason why their "ice cream is award-winning stuff" is because everything they serve is made from scratch.

Owner Bob Rook says they don't use any artificial flavors or ingredients and "If you get a scoop of bananas foster, the bananas in it were actually flambéed. It's not just flavoring". Prices are decent: one scoop is $3.95, two scoops, $4.85 and three scoops, $5.60. In addition to ice cream, you can find homemade chocolates and healthier options such as frozen yogurts and smoothies.
And Apparently, the joint's stoner friendly too. In honor of 4/20, they're willing to drop their prices a tad to satisfy all your ice cream and chocolate munchies. Tomorrow two scoops will cost you only $4.20.
