TwoWoks by Vince Tien and Alex Kuk on April 29

New, 3 comments

So it's a little far north, but probably worth it: a one night only Chinese pop-up named TwoWoks at Christina Wan's Mandarin House in Fort Lauderdale. The guys behind it, Vince Tien and Alex Kuk, used to be Miami guys. In fact, Kuk used to manage Sushi Maki and Tien was once the executive chef at The Local Craft Food & Drink.

Now, they're doing their own thing and joining forces to create an evening chockfull of "modern Chinese cuisine" on April 29 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The menu will include dishes such as crispy brussels sprouts, spicy pork dumplings, udon carbonara and baby bok choy all ranging from $8 to $25.
