Radio Bar Turns Permanent Today

New, 1 comment

Radio (no longer a Pop-Up) Bar is here to stay. The spot's been taken over by Menin Hotels and turned into a permanent establishment in the popular South of Fifth Neighborhood.

Some changes have gone down too: in addition to adding several new cocktails, the bar now offers a full "Snack Bar" menu and serves up pizza slices from the Menin Hotels' Pizza Bar. They've also brought in James Beard nominee and Chicago's acclaimed Drumbar mixologist, Craig Schoettler, to shake things up. Schoettler says his cocktails are inspired by the bar's décor; "The new beverage program compliments the inviting atmosphere whereas one would feel just as comfortable in flip flops or a business suit when sipping on a great rum or bourbon". And if all that new stuff isn't tempting enough yet, they're also rolling out a new daily Happy Hour with two for one signature cocktails from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cheers to that.
